Greenleaf Treatment Foster Care Program
Total Served: 29 children and youth, 7 families
In Maryland: The Greenleaf Treatment Foster Care Program (TFC), founded in 1995, provides temporary family care for children with mental health disabilities, ages 6 to 21, who need a stable home. We recruit and train foster parents and match them with children and youth.
Licensed capacity:
30 children and youth ages 6 to 21 years
Services:
- In-home therapy and case management services
- Pre-service and in-service foster parent training
- Respite care
- Foster parent support groups
- In-home crisis intervention
- 24-hour on-call staff support
- Permanency planning and advocacy
- Psychiatrist consultation treatment and medication management
- Educational advocacy and support
- Recreational activities
- Resource referrals
- Family group conferencing
- Birth parent advocacy
